Competing with another 19 local authorities across the country in the Excellence in BSF National Awards, Leeds' scheme was selected by judges representing the construction industry and design community, as well as students, BSF delivery partners and educationalists.
Leeds-based schools have been nominated for three categories: Innovation in ICT, Best School Team and Best Operational Leading Edge Partnership.
Executive board member for education in Leeds Councillor Richard Harker said: "Education Leeds is transforming learning through state-of-the-art buildings and 21st-century provision.
"To be nominated for these three awards is recognition of the successes achieved so far and the effort put in by many different partners."
The BSF programme has been labelled as "exciting" by the Department for Children, Schools and Families, which highlights the strategic partnership formed between all sections of the education sector to allow it to work.
