TDA publications are available in a variety of formats.
The TDA defines a publication as material:
-
which is in paper form and available from our publications unit, or
-
has appeared on our public website either as dedicated web pages or documents that can be downloaded, or
-
has appeared on other media including videos and CD ROMs
Web-based publications are free of charge (although you will have to meet charges made by your Internet service provider and personal printing costs). Many documents can be supplied in paper form: there is an online ordering form on the website or you can email your requirements to publications@tda.gov.uk. Please note, if your query concerns teacher training, you should contact the Teaching Information Line on 0845 6000 991.
For those without internet access, the downloadable documents are usually available in paper form and can be ordered from our publication unit by telephoning 0845 606 0323. The publication unit can provide you with a list of available publications.
A single print out of relevant web pages is also available free of charge from the FOI Officer (see above for the address) and would be sent by post. Multiple print outs or archived documents no longer on the web may attract a charge for the cost of retrieval, photocopying and postage. We would let you know the charge at the time of request and it would be payable in advance.
All material made available through the scheme is covered by copyright. In principle, we are content for single copies (for study, training or private use) to be provided free of charge. We do not, however, own the copyright on all the material published and advise that permission is sought from the FOI Officer, particularly for reproducing larger volumes. Text extracts may be quoted without seeking permission provided they are reproduced accurately, not used in a misleading context and acknowledged appropriately.
