The TDA is committed to working with these organisations to ensure the specific needs of school staff are considered when standards and qualifications are developed.
An example of this is our work with the Council for Administration (CfA) to support the development of a new national occupational standard specifically for administrative staff in schools. This unit can be taken on its own or as part of a level 3 NVQ in administration. You can find more information about the specialist standard on the CfA’s website.
Another example of cross-sector work is the development of an integrated qualifications framework for the children’s workforce.
