Targeted youth support

Joined-up support for vulnerable young people

Targeted youth support reforms (a key requirement of the Youth matters green paper 2005) build on the changes already under way in young people’s services, by drawing them together into a coherent whole designed for, and largely shaped by, vulnerable young people and their families and carers. Fourteen pathfinders have worked through a flexible change process enabling them to build on and join up the good multi agency work already going on in their areas.
